Frocktails events happen all around the world and serve as a social gathering for sewing enthusiasts. We’re excited to announce Victoria’s second annual Frocktails will be held March 7th, 2026. The venue will be announced shortly!
During the event, you can expect to enjoy cocktails or mocktails, light snacks, and the opportunity to meet and socialize with other members of the Victoria sewing community. There are already some lovely prizes donated by our sponsors that you can enter to win, with all proceeds from the raffle going to a local non-profit organization.
Attendees are encouraged to make their outfits, but that’s certainly not a requirement! Whether you’re an experienced sewist or just getting started, we’d love you to join us for Victoria’s second Frocktails event.

Your ticket to Victoria Frocktails includes:
Admission to the event (6pm - 10pm)
A selection of catered snacks and desserts
Access to all of the professional photography from the event.
Music, community, and more!
Any thing you like!
Attendees of Frocktails events often snatch up the opportunity to create a garment for the occasion, but we encourage you to wear whatever will make you feel comfortable and confident.
There’s no theme or dress code, but given the event’s theme, home made outfits are highly encouraged.

We will be announcing the 2026 venue soon, but the venue will be accessible, located in downtown Victoria, and easily accessed from a bike, car, or public transit.
Victoria Frocktails is being put on by a group of passionate sewists from Victoria:
Penny Lai is the owner of Gala Fabrics, a staple in the Victoria sewing and Lioness Club communities.
Erin Kerr is the owner of The Sewing Club, and loves throwing a party.
Olga Summers brings invaluable experience as an organizer of Toronto Frocktails and owner of The Hidden Dart Studio.
